Sea Interior Design Refund Policies
When paying with a credit card online, by phone or in person for an in-home consultation, for a virtual consultation and or any progress payment (see progress payment terms and conditions in Letter of Agreement) you are agreeing that there is no refund unless specified under the Letter of Agreement.
For purchases that are $500 dollars or under a Letter of Agreement is not required and the client understands these fees are nonrefundable. Once an appointment is booked or a purchased made there are no refunds. We will do whatever is reasonable and what we can to ensure your satisfaction.
For a virtual design consultation, a Letter of Agreement is required and once the payment is made and letter of agreement signed there are no refunds.
When scheduling an in-home visit, a virtual consultation and or any service that is $500 dollars or below, you also understand and agree that our services are based on deliverables, that our ideas, recommendations, our time and anything discussed during any conversation (via phone, in person or via email) are our intellectual property and therefore once delivered in person or virtually there are no refunds.
Should a client make a payment with a cc and after they have received our intellectual property and or deliverables via email, phone or in person choose to dispute such charges through their cc company; we will issue an invoice at an hourly rate of $150 dollars, plus any other expenses such as travel time, deliverables already shared, legal fees etc.
We reserve the right to issue an invoice for all fees in question and at this point, all discounts are null and void. The invoice will be issued to the client and if not paid within 5 days of the date received we will then pursue a claim through small claims court or through our legal counsel file a court complaint. We feel that if the situation reaches this point is no longer about the money it becomes a matter of principle.
Should SEA INTERIOR DESIGN be forced to engage legal Counsel and or file a small claim to obtain payment, payment disputed and or refusal of payment the client will then be responsible for all cc, bank fees, time billable and legal or filing fees.
Should a client choose to dispute a charge or feel that they have not received the services they hired us for, and after Sea Interior Design has done all that is reasonable within the agreement and scope of work- the client agrees at the time of purchase that they will choose mediation over litigation at all times.
