We like to start with a conversation on the phone if you have any questions. Typically, the first step is to schedule a brief discovery call to talk through your project goals, timeline, and overall vision. This helps us determine whether we’re the right fit.

If both parties decide to move forward with an in person Consultation, we’ll send a detailed PDF that provides everything you need to know about the Design Consultation - what it includes, how to prepare, and what to expect. All projects begin with this consultation.

The on-site design consultation is the foundation of your project. This two hour meeting allows us to get to know you, your space, and your goals.

During our time together, we’ll walk through the space, we may take measurements and photos, and have a focused conversation about your needs, preferences, and vision. If you’re unsure about the direction you’d like to take, we’ll offer expert suggestions to help you explore the possibilities.

This is your dedicated time to ask questions, share ideas, and gain clarity. Whether you're ready to dive in or are still figuring things out, the design consultation sets the stage for a tailored, well-informed design plan moving forward.

Within approximately three weeks of the design consultation, (depending on the project and our work load) we will prepare a rough concept that focuses on a key area or feature of your project. We will provide a conceptual budget estimate as a starting point for understanding the overall cost, and this will evolve as we refine details and gather actual trade quotes. 

We present this concept and estimate in person, allowing us to walk you through the vision and answer any questions. If everything is aligned, we’ll then proceed with a design retainer to begin the next phase: detailed discovery, design development, and coordination.

That phase generally requires four to eight weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of your project.

After we finalized the design, the plan, obtain labor hard quotes, and potential schedules, we will present an addendum to our agreement with a full scope, finishes and specifications.

We'll begin procuring the necessary products and materials once we have received your deposit. We’ll also handle scheduling the tradespeople that are required for the success of your project. We work closely with trusted vendors to ensure that quality and ethics are maintained from start to finish. We also offer project site management when the scope or homeowner’s needs call for added on-site coordination and oversight.

As products, furniture, and fixtures begin to arrive, we’ll arrange for and inspect each delivery. We’ll then coordinate delivery and installation with our team. Once installation is complete and all tradespeople have fulfilled their roles, we’ll begin the styling process. Furniture, accessories, and decor will be placed according to our design plan and prepared for the final reveal.

Our professional interiors photographer/videographer will capture your space for our portfolio promptly after your project has been completed. We will be careful to keep your information and the address of your project completely confidential. We look forward to celebrating your newly transformed home with you!
